Current work: Designing the initial studies during summer 2021 for implementation beginning in the summer and extending through the rest of the calendar year.
A coordinated series of mixed method inquiries, examining which students and which faculty do and do not engage with initiatives and activities intended to support student learning and success. Quantitative analyses incorporating administrative records and behavioral data extracted from the Canvas Course Management System and other relevant activity systems (e.g., ScholarTrack for 21st Century Scholars, Handshake and other career service systems) will be used to identify who is and is not using specific program services and online supports. Qualitative inquiries will then be used to understand why and to develop interventions of increasing engagement among those we are specifically seeking to engage and assist.
